Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop, test and industrialize innovative Lithium-Ion Battery packs for hybrid and electric vehicles.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz.

Your core responsibilities are:

Aligning requirements with internal and external stakeholders
Defining and reviewing technical safety requirements for safety functions of a battery control units across multiple projects
Performing, moderating and reviewing safety analysis on system HW or SW level
Defining steps for integration of SEooC
Supporting impact analysis and analysis of change requests
Performing and moderating software tool qualification
Supporting definition of processes and methods

What you need is:

Completed technical education (bachelor or masters degree)
Knowledge in the field of embedded systems development
Experience in ISO 26262 relevant safety analysis (FMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA, SSA)
3+ years of relevant industry experience incl. ISO26262
Understanding of the functional interrelationships in the overall system (electrochemistry, high-voltage components, electronics, software)
Independent, systematic and process-oriented approach, great initiative and sense of responsibility
Strong team and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of English, German is an advantage
Benefitial Qualifications:
- Experience with requirements management tool and in model based system engineering (SysML)
- Know-How in battery development as well as software tool qualification

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 53.000.--

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
